This week marks 15 years since Boom Marketing Group began. Not with investors. Not with a polished plan. Just a hungry guy with a beat-up laptop, a half-charged phone, and a mentor crazy enough to believe in him.
That was June 21, 2010. And if you think the road since then has been some perfect rocket ship ride, I’ve got jokes for you.
I’ve been broke.
I’ve been burned.
I’ve been betrayed.
I’ve failed deals, lost people, dropped the ball, and got punched in the gut — personally and professionally — more times than I can count.
But I never stopped swinging.
That’s the part I’m most proud of.
Not the revenue, not the ranks, not the shiny moments.
The fact that through everything — every detour, delay, and disaster — I kept going.
With enthusiasm. With grit.
And with a stubborn refusal to give up on people, opportunity, or myself.
Some of you reading this were there at the start.
Others met me halfway through.
Some of you just found us last week.
Doesn’t matter.
Because this isn’t a “look what I’ve done” post.
This is a thank you — for watching, supporting, collaborating, building, failing, and growing with me.
I started this journey as a kid with big goals and no real plan.
Fifteen years later, I’ve built something real.
Not perfect. Not finished. But real.
Boom Marketing Group isn’t just a brand. It’s a battle-tested, still-standing, never-say-die movement. And we’re just getting warmed up.
Here’s to the next chapter.
